Only 1 day in Newport (from cruise ship)

We only have about 6 hours in Newport. We want to tour one or maybe even two of the mansions, do the cliff walk (or at least part of it)and also have a look around the town/shops.

Is this all %26#39;do able%26#39; in a day?

Some bus routes to look at:

61 - Newport Beaches (and start of Cliff walk) route

62 - Thames St (shopping) / Fort Adams route

67 - Newport mansions along Bellevue Ave route

The shuttle bus will be the easiest way to get quickly around Newport since you have limited time.

At the Newport Vistor Center (Newport Gateway Center) you can probably get a printed map or print the maps from the web site above.
