We are sailing into Block Island at the end of July and want to moor in one of the marinas. Where do you suggest that would offer the easiest way to get around the island once we are off the boat? Best places for dinner? We will have children with us ranging from 11 to 17.

Our friends who have young children typically dock at Champlin%26#39;s. The amenities are good - gameroom for the kids, a pool, small playground, two bars for the adults. There are always taxis coming and going.
Our favorite restaurants are the Oar (right around the corner), Spring House for a nice dinner, and the porch on the Narragansett Inn.
