Planning on a stay at the NYLO Warwick hotel in November and was wondering about dining options. Is ';The Loft'; restaurant good? Is it for snacks/bar food or is it a regular restaurant? Are there any other good restaurants in the immediate area??

The Loft is a full service restaurant and lounge. I can%26#39;t comment on the food since I haven%26#39;t eaten there, but it%26#39;s pricey. The lounge is packed with locals as it%26#39;s the new ';place'; to be.

The area around the hotel is loaded with restaurants. Many are your typical chains like UNO and Longhorn Steakhouse. There%26#39;s a couple places near your hotel I can recommend. The Tomato Vine and Remington House. Tomato Vine serves up good, cooked to order italian food at reasonable prices. Lively atmosphere so not the place for a romantic dinner. It%26#39;s just south of your hotel on Greenwich Ave (Route5). Continuing further south on Route 5 will lead you onto Route 1 (Post Rd.) Follow until you see Remington House on your left. A beautiful 1801 house of yellow and green trim. Very warm and inviting inside with hardwoods throughout. Great food and reasonable prices.

Looks like Tomato Vine is no longer around so cross that one off. Too bad, not sure what happened with them. You%26#39;ll enjoy Remington House.

I%26#39;m staying in the Nylo right now and had the Chicken sandwich for dinner. Portion wasn%26#39;t too big but %26#39;guilt free%26#39; sized. Tasted excellent and for $9 with side salad I thought was great value.

Make sure you post a review when you return, I%26#39;m hearing mixed things about it...hopefully it was just opening pains, and not anytyhing to be concerned about. The location is OK, across from the Warwick Mall, but assuming you have a car, you can relatively get to most anywhere.

Will007, the Tomatoe Vine and the whole APEX plaza for that matter, was torn down and is now a Lowe%26#39;s....
