Shuttle/Taxi's

we are staying at the Holiday Inn Express but we have a wedding on Sat at Oceancliff on ridge road newport. Is there a hotel shuttle and if not approx how much/and best taxi service. Thanks. Mike

You%26#39;d have to ask the Hotel about shuttle service, but I don%26#39;t remember seeing any on the road.

Cozy Cab 800-846-1502 and Rainbow Cab (401) 849-1333 are the two big ones in Newport although there is a new company but I forget their name....they drive Orange cabs. (found it...Orange Cab oddly enough. (401) 841-0030)

Not sure what the rate would be, I%26#39;m not sure what their rates are now a days it%26#39;s about 7 - 8 miles though.

Was just next to s cab in traffic and saw the rates....it would be $22.00 for a 8 mile trip.

Rates Statewide are:

$2.00 Initial Fee

2.50 per mile.
