Need a hotel in Providence RI area for 2 nights June 18 and 19 for Providence College New Student Orientation. College gives the following prices available to Orientation attendees. Any thoughts on which will be most convenient and pleasant to stay at? I%26#39;m looking for the one that will be the most convenient for travelling back and forth to the school as well as near some places to eat and do things at night. Thanks for any help you can give me.
Comfort Inn Pawtucket-$109/night
Courtyard by Marriott Providence- $149/night
Holiday Inn Express Warwick- $99/night
Providence Marriott- $149/night
Radisson Providence Harbor- $109/night

Of those I%26#39;d skip the following:
Holiday Inn Express: It%26#39;s in Warwick, near the airport, and not anything right there in the immediate area. About 15 mins to PC
Comfort Inn Pawtucket: There%26#39;s a Ground Round Restaurant right there, and easy access to Rt. 95, but that%26#39;s about it. About 10 mins to PC
Not as bad but not a great location:
Radisson Providence Harbor: OK Hotel, but it%26#39;s location is remote, and not much to do in the immediate area...also lots of construction on RT `195 around there. About 10 mins to PC
The last 2, have more options as far as things to do right around there.
Courtyard by Mariott: It is smack dab in the middle of downtown, walking distance to everything but Parking is probably an issue ($$)
The Providence Mariott has free parking, is a straight shot to PC pretty much (maybe 5 mins). It%26#39;s only slight drawback is that it%26#39;s not right downtown, you%26#39;d have to walk to the other side of the state house to get to the Mall and the rest of Downtown....It%26#39;s totally walkable, but I think they have a shuttle or the RIPTA trolley stops right there.

Thanks for the help!
Courtyard by Marriott (perfect!)
Hilton Downtown (perfect)
Biltmore...also downtwon....rooms can be huge, or small...ask to change. Also very convenient.
Lots to see and do in downtown Prov. and great restaurants within walking distance everywhere.
