Roger Williams Park Questions

I am having some confusion on Roger Williams Park (botanical garden, greenhouses) and the RW Zoo. I want to visit the botanical gardens, rose gardens, grounds and greenhouses but am not too interested in the zoo part. The official web site is all combined and mostly talks about visiting the zoo but barely mentions the garden portion.

So can anyone answer these questions:

1) To visit what I%26#39;m lookin for do you just go to the zoo entrance and pay the entrance fee and go in?

2) or is the park and gardens portion free (and only a charge if you visit the Zoo?)

And is there a better place to park? Any better web site than the official one?

Any help or clarification would be appreciated!

Roger Williams Park Questions

Thanks what a better link with more info! Should be a nice day for a visit weatherwise and the roses are supposed to be in peak bloom. Will post back some details after our visit.

We had a great day visiting the various gardens at Roger Williams Park! We visited the new Botanical Center, the Japanese Gardens behind the Carousel and the Victorian Rose gardens located at one of the entrances. If going to see the gardens the official map on the web site doesn%26#39;t have them noted (the map definitely needs to be updated). To find the Botanical Center follow signs for %26#39;Other Attractions%26#39; in the park. For the other two gardens look for the landmarks mentioned. I put in review of Roger Williams Park here on TA. We%26#39;ll worth visiting for the gardens and other activities available at the park.
