Our family is staying for two nights in Newport the weekend after Christmas. Looking for suggestions for restaurants. We are fans of casual, Italian, seafood,
restaurants. Any ideas of both lunch and dinner would be greatly appreciated.
Restaurant suggestions
Hi Margo,
It would be more helpful to let us know what age ranges we are talking about here. Do you have young kids or is everybody adults?
Restaurant suggestions
we have 4 adults and a 13 yr. old boy who eats like an adult !!
Sardella%26#39;s for italian. It%26#39;s located between Thames and Bellevue at 5 Memorial Blvd West. Kids welcome. Kids menu available if needed. Dinner only, 401-849-6312 for reservations.
Brick Alley for American/Seafood. Located at 140 Thames St. Mainly seafood dishes but they also offer lasagna, steak, pizza, etc. Kids welcome, no kids menu. Lunch or dinner. 401-849-6334. Management frowns upon unattended kids, but I doubt that applies to you. Good food, decent prices.
Every Day Gourmet at 677 Thames St. for breakfast or lunch. Resonably priced gourmet omelettes, egg sandwiches, and pastries. Lunch serves up good wraps, sandwiches and burgers.
Franklin Spa at 229 Spring St. for another breakfast place. Awesome breakfast menu and very reasonable. Friendly place.
Hope this gets you started. Enjoy Newport.
