Not a coffe drinker, so i can%26#39;t really help, but for a nice view, there is a small coffee shop at the end of Bannister%26#39;s Wharf, there is a small shop called the Coffee Grinder, nice Adirondak Chairs overlooking the Harbor....even if you don%26#39;t get your coffee there, you can still sit there....bundle up though, but it%26#39;s supposed to be sunny this weekend.

milemarker is correct.. the coffee grinder at the end of banisters wharf is the best spot for a coffee in newport.

Just back. The coffee grinder had the best view but the worst Capuccino I have ever had

That%26#39;s too bad. I was going to recommend a new little cafe on Spring St. right up from your hotel which I heard from some afficionados has very good coffee. The places around the tourist areas can be hit or miss; it takes some skill to make a good cappucino.

I adore Newport and can%26#39;t wait to go back. Saw the coffee place on Spring St. and was very close to stopping. Thanks for the tip. Next time.
